Plascon is pleased to announce an addition to its Protective Coatings range of products – the versatile and hardworking Plascothane 9000 Aluminium.
Plascothane 9000 Aluminium is a high-performance leafing aluminium with excellent UV stability, resistance to spills and splashes of mild chemicals and cleaning detergents. It provides an aesthetically pleasing high-gloss finish that closely resembles a silver or galvanized finish. The product lends itself to both domestic and heavy industrial applications.
The features and benefits of this high-performance polyurethane are several. This versatile product can be used for both maintenance and new work. The fast-drying product is easy to apply using a brush, roller or spray and dries to the touch in about 1.5 hours @ 23°C.
Furthermore, the high-gloss finish boasts excellent colour and gloss retention. The UV-resistant top coat is designed for structural steel – often used in residential architecture – and tankage.
After the initial release of launch stock, and for continued ease of availability, Plascothane 9000 Aluminium will be available to customers as a Made-to-Order product.
